What has always set Black Fucking Cancer aside in the USBM scene is their strict yet transformative adherence to the tradition of black metal across all its eras, an approach which has aligned them far more to the Scandinavian/French school and led the Californian horde to evolve the style's most recognizable and iconic traits beyond a state of weaponized terror, glorifying its most vile dogmas and instigating its most antihuman instincts. In the band’s own words, “Black Fucking Cancer's sole purpose is to manifest uncompromising, disease ridden, unforgiving aural hell. To relentlessly shove everyone's face into their own shit.” As their name aptly suggests San Jose CA’s Black Fucking Cancer are plague adorators whose wretched aural craft is conceived solely as a vessel for defilement, insult, and ridicule of the human race, particularly of that segment of humanity who follow morality and are cowardly enough to chose to believe the lies of organized religion. A long running and revered act in the Bay Area extreme meta underground, Black Fucking Cancer have always eschewed the trends of their times, and while during their beginnings everyone in their scene and epoch was busy delving into atmospheric and “cascadian” styles of meditative hybridized and frankly inoffensive forms of USBM, Black Fucking Cancer spat on all trends, raised their middle fingers high toward the sky and opted instead to wage a permanent aural war against all and worship directly at the wretched Norwegian altar where the pure and untouched flame of authentic nihilistic black metal burned with the vigor and intensity of a thousand plagues and pestilences. Influences as diverse as Emperor, Immortal, 1349, Gorgoroth, and Satyricon as well as Swedish nuances coming from maniacs like Craft, Dark Funeral, and Marduk can be clearly heard in their grandiose and maleficent aural framework, but one can not help but denote and gasp in awe at the band’s darkest and most malefic side - the side which more than any other one has defined them and made them such a force of pure concentrated darkness and destruction. It is here that the band’s primordial driving force is revealed, fueled by unholy and nefarious influences coming from french black metal abominations like, Aosoth, Antaeus, and S.V.E.S.T., as well as German anomalies like Katharsis, and certain dark and experimental USBM like Leviathan, Judas Iscariot and Weakling, all fused together and sublimating to horrifying heights of aural pandemonium. Black Fucking Cancer’s unholy existence has spawned two releases so far: the Summoning Aural Hell demo cassette tape which was released by revered underground American tape label Graceless Recordings (the same one to discover bands like Lycus, Pissgrave, Mortiferum, Chthe'ilist and more) and then self-released on CD by the band in limited copies, and their debut self-titled 2XLP released by legendary French extreme metal label Osmose Productions (Blasphemy, Revenge, Sadistik Execution, countless other legendary black metal bands from the 90s/00s) in collaboration again with Graceless Recordings. The monstrous 2XLP featured artwork by Italian oil painting visionary Paolo Girardi, a layout by Sutek Hexen’s Kevin Gan Yuen, and has since been hailed as an absolute cornerstone in West Coast USBM. In 2018 Black Fucking Cancer silently retreated back to their home studio to work on Boundless Arcane Invokations, their imposing 12” split with Santa Cruz CA black metal legion Gloam. On the visionary collaborative piece of American black metal set to be released on vinyl in the second half of 2019 by Sentient Ruin, the two bands envisioned the work as a single continuous and circular piece connected at both ends, with the same title for the album and for their two respective tracks as well, where the two bands trade places in taking the composition from start to finish and then dissolve the two ends as well, coercing their two creations into a cyclical and looped spell of vast, glorious, and unholy USBM pandemonium. The "Tongues of the Exanimate" LP compilation serves as a comprehensive introduction to the band’s abhorrent and hallucinating death metal formula and as anticipator to the band’s masterful official debut LP which will see the light later in the year. This compilation has been unveiled by Decibel Magazine who premiered the self-titled opening track stating that the release is “an absolute wrecking ball of dirty, hallucinatory death metal” and that “‘Tongues of the Exanimate’ takes the black/death metal format and adds a psychedelic layer to it, giving the music an ominous tone.“

The gruesome occult hymns of Vile Ritual churn with incantations of eons past to incarnate a most disfigured vision of deviated and perverse blackened death metal ritualism. Born of the black flame of ancient atrocious subterranean rites, "Tongues of the Exanimate" sees the sounds of ghostly utterances travel over cavernous ambiance to create a disembodied, trance-like state, while inhumanly crushing riffs bludgeon the listener and entomb them in a suffocating and grotesque aural burial. Vile Ritual first emerged in 2019 with a defining self-titled and self-released digital EP of surreal and masterful dark atmospheric death metal combining the skull-crushing primitivism of bands like Archgoat and Black Witchery with the hallucinatory and diseased atmospheres of black metal bands like Beherit and Von and the esoteric sophistication of bands like Necros Christos, Sect Pig, and Antediluvian. We’re proud to welcome into the family Ohio-based abhorrent death metal cataclysm Invultation, with the band’s masterful 2021 sophomore album "Unconquerable Death" released this month for the first time on vinyl and now available worldwide and the brand new third LP “Feral Legion” now at the pressing plant slated for a late 2022 release on all formats.

Originally self-released in early 2021, "Unconquerable Death" plumbs the depths of total aural savagery, manifesting death metal transmuted into one of its most feral and malefic forms yet. While the band's 2020 debut album "Wolfstrap" introduced Invultation as presence to reckon in the outer realms of bestial and lawless death metal, it is this release in particular - with its majestic wall of sound and chain reaction-like intensity - that has established the Columbus, OH-based one man project as an authentic scourge of creation. "Unconquerable Death" sees Invultation further refine its lupine/lycanthropic concept as a proclamation of total savagery and barbarity, while discharging a cataclysmic payload of unseen wrath and intensity into a thick as concrete production that pushes the atomic yield of death metal beyond is breaking point, materializing one of the most weaponized, devastating and animalistic death metal releases ever conceived in the underground. The album's cristalline production, unforgiving intensity and aggressively virtuosic execution exalted by crystalline leads and driven off the cliffs of oblivion by an arsenal of enormous death-bearing riffs, is an all-encompassing and celebratory end-times ritual to the glory of metal, and an unforgettable chapter, archetype and homage to its most extreme and destructive manifestations.

Invultation began its existence as an aural scourge of creation in Columbus, Ohio in 2015, conceived by solo artist, multi instrumentalist, and sole member and mastermind Andrew Lampe (The Wakedead Gathering, Echushkya, LONGBARROW). Influenced by legendary bands like Archgoat, Black Witchery, Revenge and Incantation, the project set out to conceive abominable hellscapes of utter destruction, an intent that became reality with the band’s self-titled debut demo, released that same year as a home-dubbed cassette released in a limited quantity. The project then sank back into the depths of silence until 2020 when it suddenly re-emerged with the release of its first proper full-length album, "Wolfstrap". This release saw the project morph into more of a death-metal driven entity, with the same bestial black/death metal roots still firmly anchored in its sound. It also displayed a denser and improved production/sound quality, as well as a more fine-tuned focus on its staple lycanthropic misanthropy aesthetic which would become ever so central later on. Without losing any momentum, Lampe unleashed the next bludgeoning Invultation full-length titled "Unconquerable Death" the following year, obscuring anything done until that point, and displaying an even more increased emphasis on production quality, songwriting, sheer tonnage of the riffs and just on all around yield of destruction in Invultation’s annihilating sound framework. "Unconquerable Death" continued and advanced the sound of "Wolfstrap", celebrating the end of all life with the ultimate metal of death. This second full-length offering was officially self-released in March 2021 to positive reception from the underground, which lead to a CD release via Born for Burning Productions that same month.

This is when the release came across the desk of Sentient Ruin and a vinyl release plan soon shaped up for early 2022. At the same time Lampe and Sentient Ruin began preparing the ground for the grand unleashing of Invultation’s third, cataclysmic full-length album, “Feral Legion”, tentatively planned for a late 2022 release.

The self-titled track from the MLP has been unveiled by Decibel Magazine, who in presenting the track explained that "Petrified Against the Emanation" is “a swirling amalgam of black and death metal that turns the instruments into a sonic force. The music is executed with a combination of precision and savagery that creates a vile atmosphere; if most death metal lives underground, then Chaos Perversion’s music lives in the darkest recesses of a sewer or in a remote cave.“. Chaos Perversion emanate from the underworld of the glorious South American extreme metal scene with an aural declaration of war aimed straight at humanity like a hell-forged arsenal of complete mass destruction. Loyal and adherent to the tradition and reputation of the legendary and often far too overlooked Chilean black/death and speed metal cult, Chaos Perversion throw the entirely of their negativity and darkened vision into a nineteen-minute debut offering of feral and primal aural darkness worshipping the omnipotence and majesty of total chaos and inevitability. Originally circulated independently only locally in their scene back in 2019, the duo's debut EP "Petrified Against the Emanation" is now presented via Sentient Ruin and Total Death for global audiences as a limited edition vinyl 10", digital product. cassette tape and CD with a new master, brand new graphic layout and new cover art by famed dark tattoo artist Nekronikon (AKA Daniel Corcuera). The posthumously unearthed release introduces the Chilean legion to western/northern hemisphere audiences as a new lethal spearhead of their scene, joining the ranks of compatriot entities like Wrathprayer, Force of Darkness, and Invincible Force as ulterior fuel to the revered and undying dark flame of Chilean aural desecrating cults. Far from being however just a mere product of their scene, throughout Chaos Perversion's scorched hell-scape echoes of adjacent South American legendary cults like Sarcófago, Mystifier and early Sepultura reverberate throughout while the presence of European atrocities like Pseudogod and Grave Miasma reek from its wretched spires like a baneful presence signaling omens and premonitions of unseen black/death ritualism and disarray.

Chaos perversion was formed around 2016 in the city of Osorno (South of Chile) as a solo endeavor of Flauros, playing all instruments. A couple years later around 2018, artist Nox Fragor joined Flauros becoming Chaos Perversion's vocalist, also becoming the band's visual artist. Failing to successfully add a full lineup, the band continued as a duo indefinitely. Sonically, Chaos perversion is a ritual aimed at distilling the purest essence of darkness from various strains of extreme metal, and the band's sound is constructed on dense passages of death and doom metal generating a dense atmosphere full of chaotic, agonizing and gloomy dirges. We’re proud to welcome into our family enigmatic raw black metal pestilence Lucifixion, an authentic sonic scourge that has tasked Sentient Ruin with the abhorrent delivery of their face-shredding debut full-length album, to be released in mid/late 2022, and which is being preceded by the venomous debut demo tape “Feral Mass”, here presented.

A song extrapolated from said forthcoming album - the eleven-minute“Feral Mass” - has been re-recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves to be released immediately as the eponymous demo/promo tape to give the world a small hint of the utter sonic flailing Lucifixion have seething within their wretched womb, and which will find its full deflagration in the year to come under the form of their aforementioned debut album.

“Feral Mass” documents Lucifixion’s sudden emergence from the depths and obscurity of the USBM underground’s most remote crevices, as they revel in a state of unstable and embryonic chaos almost like a malefic premonition of war. A venomous prelude of greater things to come, the single-track demo is the band’s inaugural death rite, which, while providing unmistakeable clues to the band’s deconstructed and lawless state, is alo just a mere glimpse into the apocalyptic bedlam and aural disarray they have ready for listeners in the forthcoming months.

Transformative dark atmospheric extreme ambient project Somnolent was created by American multi-instrumentalist and sound designer Jessi Nihil (Noctis, ex-Lycus, ex-Necrite and countless other projects) as a development of the artist's long running fascination with occultism and the work of legendary dark ambient godfather Lustmord. Initially called Cerberus and based in the UK, this early incarnation of the project was guitar-based dark ambient, and its original recorded output first surfaced as far back as 2006 with the album "The Forgotten", released by Dark Forest Productions (USA) as a pro CD-R. Nihil changed the project's name to Somnolent in 2010 in correspondence with an increased exploration of more electronic territories. This new incarnation materialized with a first digital release called "Manifestations MMXIII" published in 2013 and then followed by seventeen other digital releases between 2013 and 2021 exploring dark ambient, harsh noise, hellish industrial and everything in between. During this time Somnolent also materialized as a live solo act between 2013 to 2018, eventually bringing in several different live session members. This new outreach expanded the project's scope further and lead to the incorporation of more instruments and dynamics being added to the mix, a development which resulted in the conceivement and subsequent recording of most of "The Infernal Expanse" during 2019. While still firmly rooted in dark ambient and ritual industrial, "The Infernal Expanse" introduced a strong affinity to fringe strains of abstract, atmospheric and experimental black and death metal (another long running influence of Nihil) due to its prominent use of drums and percussions, strings, aggressive metal guitars and a malevolence and intensity akin to that of hideous extreme metal entities like Teitanblood or Portal. These instrumental recordings casually came across Abstracter vocalist MA (also in Ash Prison and Atrament) who intrigued by the composition's scope and darkness offered his vocals services to the work, bringing it to its final form which would become the towering late 2021 first ever Somnolent physical release via Sentient Ruin and and European dark industrial label Cyclic Law.

We’re honored and proud to Join Spanish multi instrumentalist and sole project mastermind CGS and our overseas colleagues in CAVSAS/Cyclic Law for the long awaited and always needed first ever vinyl edition of Emanation’s 2011 incredible debut album "The Emanation of Begotten Chaos from God", an unparalleled and mesmerizing one-hour-plus long masterpiece of decontruscted and visionary experimental back metal excellence.

"Science and religion; facts and faith".... The brainchild of Spanish multi-instrumentalist CG Santos (also of Like Drone Razors Through Flesh Sphere and Teitanblood), Emanation is a disembodied auditory reflection on various cryptic ruminations surrounding science, faith, belief, and their many ramifications within human consciousness. One of the most mutant and defiant black metal entities to emerge in the last decade, the now dormant and always elusive project reached the pinnacle of its deconstructed and aberrant expression with 2011's one-hour and eleven minute long masterpiece and heirloom of total sensorial dissolution "The Emanation of Begotten Chaos from God", now seeing the light for the first time ever on vinyl format to coincide with and celebrate the 10th anniversary of its conceivement. The glorious double album incarnates via Sentient Ruin and France's CAVSAS label (a subdivision of Cyclic Law) through a carefully crafted high end double LP edition envisioned with maniacal care by the artist and both labels to enshrine the work in its ultimate and most timeless physical incarnation yet.

Though ten years of mostly silence have passed since its original release, "The Emanation of Begotten Chaos from God" remains years, decades, aeons ahead, or "away", from reality and the present, perpetually defying times, moments and instances, and standing high as the crowning achievement of a monstrous vision which attempted to subvert consciousness and unravel the fabric of reality to place the listener at the center of a timeless audial hallucination of unparalleled evocative force. Nearly indescribable and almost impossible to conceptualize or contextualize, "The Emanation of Begotten Chaos from God" is a metamorphed audial alteration of reality, a dissolution of any fixed point within the sensorial plane of reference where "black metal" is used as a dissociative medium, as the primal hallucinogen to disintegrate the mind and make it lose its every connection to reality to understand its state and capabilities beyond logic and materiality.

Its aberrant creation process is one with and indissoluble from the music itself, incarnated through a mystical pilgrimage; entirely recorded in non-common nomadic circumstances across the clandestine catacombs of Paris and the abandoned Finisterre with unconventional creative methods under self-imposed starvation and sleep deprivation, for total self-mutilation of soul, body and spirit into the labyrinths of the spirit molecule.

The whole process of conceptualizing the work and translating it into sensorial form resulted in an unparalleled auditory monstrosity. Liquefying arabesques of glitched electronics churning a cauldron of caustic synthetic ash, solemn ritualistic conjurations emanating from a distortion in a rippling alteration of reality, doomed and agonizing droning dirges that seem cyclical and never ending, disorienting and demented off-axis guitar patterns that derail the mind and endlessly fall back on themselves like some kind of inescapable looped spell of perception, insanity-inducing time signatures and backward moving meters, all primal ingredients to a work which possesses the magickal force to turn delirium into logic, uncreation into materiality, and nightmares into reality.

"The Emanation of Begotten Chaos from God" was officially released November 5 2021 on a highly curated limited edition clear vinyl with white blob 2LP (75 of 150 units worldwide - direct label retail item not wholesaled or distributed) and as a standard black vinyl 2LP inside a matte laminated gatefold sleeve with black flood inside the pockets, matte printed inner sleeves, download card. The American release is handled by Sentient Ruin while French dark industrial forge Cyclic Law will handle the European release via their more metal-oriented imprint CAVSAS.
