ABHORRENCY
Bestial, pulverizing, Black/Death Metal horde from Sacramento CA, formed in 2019. Featuring current and former members of Rotten Funeral, Defecrator, Denunciation, Killgasm, and Larry David, Abhorrency are formed by veterans of Sacramento’s sprawling current extreme metal scene, and sit atop its stockpile of total musical death with the most hideous and animalistic sound the city has probably every seen. Influenced by everything bestial and deranged like Blasphemy, Archgoat, Black Witchery and Proclamation, Abhorrency are prophets of a shellshocking realm of chaos where humanity is banished and torment rules over everything with an iron fist. Their debut demo surfaced in 2019 with multi-format releases via Stygian Black Hand, Maggot Stomp and Unpure Records, while the debut full length album “Climax of Disgusting Impurities” came to decimate human ears in 2022 again via Stygian Black Hand on cassette, via Goat Throne Records on CD and later in 2023 via Sentient Ruin on vinyl, establishing and perpetrating a sound so vile and perverted to have become a cryptic underground banner to total sonic insanity.
