ANTICREATION
Greek abyssal Black/Death Metal duo Anticreation was born in the beginning of 2021 with the intent of creating sprawling, otherworldly abstract death metal, embraced with lyrics about chaos, death, and nightmarish realms and states of consciousness. The duo is formed by nameless greek musicians Necro and Noctus, representing a new endeavor for the former, who’s been known for decades in the greek underground for having spearheaded over the years black metal projects like Burial hordes, Enshadowed, and Merciless Crucifixion, among others, starting as far back as 2002. Now joined by his colleague Noctus in this new entity, Anticreation represents the duo’s intent to branch out far and beyond the confines of black metal to embrace the bludgeoning dimension of death metal in its darkest and most deconstructed states, that realm of violent sonic hallucinations already explored before by pioneers like Portal, Teitanblood and Pseudogod. This trip into the outer limits of death metal irreality metastasized in summer 2022 via the release of debut album "From the Dust of Embers", a sprawling and hallucinatory abyss of churning dissonance issued on LP/CD/MC/digital formats by Sentient Ruin and Nuclear Winter Records.
