EGREGORE: Utah-Based Dark Esoteric Grindcore Act Announces Pulverizing Debut Album "Synchronistic Delusions" - Track Premiered at Last Rites.

We’re proud to announce "Synchronistic Delusions", the debut album from dark esoteric Grindcore act Egregore (not to be confused with the Canadian black metal band), to be released in early September 2023 on LP, MC and digital formats along with a full spread of merch on demand.

The destructive forthcoming long player has been teased by poignant underground metal blog Last Rites, who in premiering the track “Birth of Death” have remarked that that the track “determinately carves melody inch by inch into a veneer of sheer brutality before coating it all in an extra finishing layer of rich darkness“ - you can read the feature and check out the track HERE.

With debut full-length album "Synchronistic Delusions" Egregore takes us into ominous realms rarely explored before by, and in the genre: those of metaphysical occultism and supernatural darkness; a descent into the immaterial self and into alterante realities to transform a tradition inspired by bands like Carcass, Discharge, Convulse, Demigod, Terrorizer and Napalm Death into a destructive psychic mind-weapon. Egregore's grim and mystical amalgam of 90's death metal, crust, and grind aims to use the timeless lesson cemented chiefly by Carcass's "Heartwork" and "Necroticism" albums to disintegrate the corporeal self, transfigure the soul and open the listener's third eye unto a superior reality dominated by obscure forces, invisible powers, and higher truths. A passageway album using sonic destruction as a key to dimensions above and beyond the self, "Synchronistic Delusions" continues the band's explorative synthesis into the unknown, bridging 90's death metal and grind, black metal, crust punk and esoteric projections derived from jungian philosophy, occultism, supernatural theology and paranormal cabalism to destroy reality and liberate the mind from its carnal prison.

Egregore is an extreme metal vibration created in 2020 in Ogden, Utah, by multi-instrumentalist solo artist M.A.E. handling all instruments and recordings duties on all his releases by himself. The solo project first emerged in April 2020 with the release of the 1st demo, “Ritual Consciousness”, on Astral Tulpa Records, a blinding obfuscation of blackened death-grind terror that immediately set the tone of the sheer force and vision of the project. The debut demo was soon followed in by the 2nd demo, “Dysthymic Gloom”, also released on Astral Tulpa Records in August 2020, which was an unmistakable step up from its predecessor in production quality and execution, further confirming the project’s bleak and perfectly executed vision. Musically and sonically, Egregore is influenced by a variety of bands in the realms of death metal, black metal, crust/d-beat, grindcore, and beyond. A few of  M.A.E.’s personal influences appearing through the project are Carcass, Darkthrone, Repulsion, Nihilist, Entombed, Sepultura, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Thin Lizzy, Discharge, Bolt Thrower, and Convulse, a broad spectrum of influences which has resulted in a devastating and exceptionally articulate sound. A great deal of importance is given to lyrical content and the project’s themes and symbolism. In Egregore M.A.E. focuses his creativity on the occult, mystical experiences, unexplained phenomena, metaphysics, and other strange encounters and philosophical phenomena permeating the unknown. The project’s name itself is also profoundly mystical and occult, and M.A.E will only provide you with the dictionary definition and will let the reader/listener determine what it means to their own chemically induced hallucinated, subjective human experience: “Egregore” (also Egregor) is an occult concept representing a "thoughtform" or "collective group mind", an autonomous psychic entity made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people. The breadth of all these concepts, influences, themes and experiences in self-producing and self-recording as a solo artist, soon paved the way to the devastating debut full-length album Synchronistic Delusions", a fully accomplished and perfectly executed long player envisioned by M.A.E. and released in late 2023 by Sentient Ruin worldwide.

"Synchronistic Delusions" is slated for a September 1 2023 release on LP, MC and digital formats worldwide via Sentient Ruin along with a full spread of merch on demand.

Their debut demo surfaced in 2019 with multi-format releases via Stygian Black Hand, Maggot Stomp and Unpure Records, while the debut full length album “Climax of Disgusting Impurities” came to decimate human ears in 2022 again via Stygian Black Hand on cassette, via Goat Throne Records on CD and later in 2023 via Sentient Ruin on vinyl, establishing and perpetrating a sound so vile and perverted to have become a cryptic underground banner to total sonic insanity.

INVULTATION: American Bestial Death Metal Berserker Announces Obliterating New Album "Feral Legion" - Track Unveiled at Toilet Ov Hell.

We’re proud to announce that American bestial death metal berserker Invultation returns with its second full-length abomination "Feral Legion", a thirty seven-minute siege of inescapable black/death ruin whose ominous nature and intents are already clear and evident from the album title alone.

The catastrophically violent record has been teased by underground metal blog Toilet ov Hell, who in premiering the track “Severed Umbilical Chaos” have remarked how on the track “the guitar riff that begins around 1:34 amidst a constantly shifting and blasting rhythm attack soon becomes, in all its malformed glory, the crooked backbone of an unmitigated neck-snapping breakdown.” and continuing that “This willingness to drop out of an unsustainable frenzy into a corrupted sense of straight-forward stomping is the formula for destruction at work on other album standouts such as ‘The Howling Convocation,’ title track ‘Feral Legion’ ‘Lower Beasts’, and ‘Mark of the Fang’. It is very much to the band’s credit that they harness these more traditional black and death metal tropes in their quest for uncivilized domination.” - you can check out the track and feature HERE.

“Feral Legion" takes us forward, or back, to a time once evoked by Einstein in his (supposed) famous words "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". A time in which humanity's prolonged obsession for power through dominance has reduced the world to a lightless and inhuman prehistoric dark age where primeval animalistic instincts of survival and a complete lack of sanity are the only "logic" reigning. The music marvelously encapsulates this concept unfolding ten dehumanizing, life-scourging slabs of pure shellshock and complete sonic armageddon derived from the immortal legacy of black/death war cults like Blasphemy, Bestial Warlust and Angelcorpse. And while that is the premise and starting point, the means by which Invultation accomplishes its conquest is quite unprecedented for the standards of bestial extreme metal. The "chaos-for-chaos-sake" approach the genre has widely been known for is ignored in favor a hyper-realistic, (technical) death metal-derived approach with a crystalline production that exposes and exalts every moving part in the record, revealing an entity working within an evolved and sophisticated technical and compositional framework in which absolute destruction is achieved solely via the raw tonnage of the riffs and by the superb quality of the performative skill being wielded and weaponized to achieve its conquest of absolute bedlam.

"Feral Legion" releases August 18 2023 on LP, CD, MC, digital/streaming formats worldwide via Sentient Ruin and is now pre-order able via all our channels.

Invultation began its existence as an aural scourge of creation in Columbus, Ohio in 2015, conceived by solo artist, multi instrumentalist, and sole member and mastermind Andrew Lampe (The Wakedead Gathering, Echushkya, LONGBARROW). Influenced by legendary bands like Archgoat, Black Witchery, Revenge and Incantation, the project set out to conceive abominable hellscapes of utter destruction, an intent that became reality with the band’s self-titled debut demo, released that same year as a home-dubbed cassette released in a limited quantity. The project then sank back into the depths of silence until 2020 when it suddenly re-emerged with the release of its first proper full-length album, "Wolfstrap". This release saw the project morph into more of a death-metal driven entity, with the same bestial black/death metal roots still firmly anchored in its sound. It also displayed a denser and improved production/sound quality, as well as a more fine-tuned focus on its staple lycanthropic misanthropy aesthetic which would become ever so central later on. Without losing any momentum, Lampe unleashed the next bludgeoning Invultation full-length titled "Unconquerable Death" the following year, obscuring anything done until that point, and displaying an even more increased emphasis on production quality, songwriting, sheer tonnage of the riffs and just on all around yield of destruction in Invultation’s annihilating sound framework. "Unconquerable Death" continued and advanced the sound of "Wolfstrap", celebrating the end of all life with the ultimate metal of death. This second full-length offering was officially self-released in March 2021 to positive reception from the underground, which lead to a CD release via Born for Burning Productions that same month. This is when the release came across the desk of Sentient Ruin and a vinyl release plan soon shaped up for early 2022. At the same time Lampe and Sentient Ruin began preparing the ground for the grand unleashing of Invultation’s third, cataclysmic full-length album, “Feral Legion”, tentatively planned for a late 2022 release.

夢遊病者: Multinational Experimental Black Metal Visionaries Announce Mind-Bending New Album "Skopofoboexoskelett" - New Song Accompanied by Official Music Video Premiere Revealed at Last Rites

We’re proud to announce the renewal of our long lasting friendship and partnership with experimental black metal masters 夢遊病者 (Sleepwalker) and announce the imminent release of their mind-bending fourth full-length album “Skopofoboexoskelett”.

The mind-melting work has been teased by iconic underground metal blog Last Rites, who’ve premiered the official music video for the song “Silesian Fur Coat”, elaborating that “Skopofoboexoskelett” is “a craft of beautiful soundscapes born of memory, rife with tension and release, fluctuating emotions shifting both fluidly and on a whim as they weave these dense but digestible works.“ - you can watch the video, and check out the song and feature HERE.

Where does reality end and where does it begin? And who, or what, decides this? Multinational experimental black metal enigma 夢遊病者 (Sleepwalker) ripropose this question to us via their masterful fourth album "Skopofoboexoskelett", an enigmatic and playfully formulaic quandary of deconstructed visionary counter-music reminding us a simple concept: that reality is dictated by perception, and as such, by manipulating perception (via the arts), any reality is not only possible but also valid. And as is always the tradition with 夢遊病者, music is the alchemical key via which questions are raised and answers are found in the labyrinth of history, culture, lore and world traditions. In the case of "Skopofoboexoskelett", an exploration of the notions of self-reflection, intuition, phobia, luck, and failure in the context of the evil eye, its historical, cultural, physical and metaphysical meanings, as well as its psychological affects, carefully unraveled and revealed. Within this paradigm "Skopofoboexoskelett" takes 夢遊病者's vision, agenda, and intents, further than ever before, with musical boundaries shattered, definitions pulverized, genres, styles and aesthetics ridiculed into a masterful sensorial manipulation which draws the listener into the deceptive and subversive absurdity that is their own perception being stimulated in unprecedented ways. Drawing their own line and dictating the guidelines of music's end as we know it, 夢遊病者 use their unique sonic idealizations made of lysergic black metal excoriations, kraut, psych, noise rock, world music, improvised deconstructionism and schizoid free jazz to transcend conscience and reason, devastate the senses (particularly the auditory one) and open the mind unto a new plane of perception of which the only logic is illogicality, as only true and unquestionable experimental arts dictate and demand.

“Skopofoboexoskelett”, is set to be released August 4 2023 worlwide on LP, CD, MC, digital/streaming formats, and can not be pre-ordered via all our channels along with a a full merch spread (limited edition screenprinted long sleeve shirt and merch on demand hoodie and tee).

CH'AHOM: German Black/Death Metal Legion Teases Forthcoming Debut Album With Massive Twelve Minute, Single-Song "Ts'ono'ot" Precursor EP - Full Stream Available From CVLT Nation.

We are extremely happy to announce that the new dawn of Ch'ahom is upon us. The German ritualistic black/death metal horde give us a taste of what will materialize on a full scale with their imminent debut album. The single-song "Ts'ono'ot" EP here presented is a colossal twelve minute death-ritual materialized from the same recording sessions of their aforementioned forthcoming debut full-length LP, and is the first real glimpse into the band's new and future shape to come, crystallized as apocalyptic omen via limited edition cassette presentation.

Leading up to its July 7 2023 official release on cassette tape and digital formats, the single-track twelve minute "Ts'ono'ot" EP has been premiered in full by CVLT Nation, with the illustrious underground music blog explaining that “the raw, lo-fi bestial metal-borderlining-on-noise chaos we’ve seen from the band so far is out the window entirely (or almost), replaced by a massive, thick and crystal clear production putting on full display a band at the top of their game and armed with an insane arsenal of destructiveness and inventive.” - you can read the full feature and check out the full stream HERE.

Indeed, completing the metamorphosis from their Von, Sadogoat, Beherit, and Blasphemy-influenced, noise-bordering raw bestial metal beginnings and groundwork, the behemoth track reveals Ch’ahom transfigured into a shapeshifting new mortal ritual weapon of absolute death. New presages are re-worked into the band's new multilayered canvas and into a newfound clearer and outward projecting sound, weaponized with a sophistication, complexity and unpredictability sourced from transformative early psych/prog-infused technical death metal bands like Demilich and Time Ghoul. The band's peculiar and parallel fascination with the golden era of UK 70's prog and particularly with bands like Camel, Yes, and Genesis has done the rest, setting the band's songwriting on a trajectory of inexorable and masterful intricacy, materializing in the end twelve monstrous and bludgeoning minutes of transmuted and kaleidoscopic progressive bestial death metal triumph. Yet, this is nothing but the beginning...

The origins of obscure German black/death metal cult Ch'ahom can be traced as far back as 2016, when the band begun issuing a steady string of cryptic demo tapes in the German underground, up until 2021. During this time frame the band had displayed a blown out, raw and feral sound clearly worshipping bands like Von, Sadomator, Sadogoat, Beherit and other similar primitive black/death gods. These demos captured the eye of Sentient Ruin who made contact with the band right when a change in their sound and songwriting was happening and the ground for a glorious and genre-defying debut album was being prepared. Perfect timing. While the tracks from all these earlier demos were later remastered by Sentient Ruin for a 2023 cassette tape restropective compilation titled “Camazotz Cult“, the once simple, short and fast songs from the band’s early days are now giving way to new compositions stretching out into atmospheric lengths and being punctuated and exalted by the unique technicality, atmospheres and more slowed down paces reminiscent of iconic US and Finish Death Metal bands like Morbid Angel, Infester, Demilich, and Abhorrence, creating a masterful symbiosis between the animalistic violence from their origins and the band’s newfound sense of atmosphere and evocative musical storytelling. Far from ending there, in recent times Ch'ahom's music has begun showcasing also marked prog influences derived from the band's appreciation of 70's English bands like Yes and Camel. This multilayered evolution is now creating a sound appearing vast, relentless, and frenzy-like, almost bordering on insanity, as showcased on their 2023 debut EP “Ts'ono'ot”, a glorious, ten-minute single track prelude to the majestic carnage lurking ahead later in the year with the advent of their official debut full-length album for Sentient Ruin,“Knots of Abhorrence”. This outreach toward more complex and unpredictable composition is completed and complemented by the band's long running theme and subject matter, offering a glimpse into a parallel dimension beyond the purely musical material itself: lyrical themes, concepts, and aesthetics dealing with different prehispanic cultures, their rituals and their art. With their music dowsed in magick, blood, and violence, Ch'ahom try to establish a connection to a subconscious horror we all face in our lives, still to this day, that has been a driving force behind many mythical and mystical traditions that have originated throughout the centuries all around the globe. The accumulation of these influences make this Essen, Germany-based horde a far more complex and thought-provoking entity than the average goat-worshipping black/death band most of us are used to being accustomed with. Ch'ahom are a nightmare simulation, a terror emanating from deep below, screaming from the caverns in the earth in which humanity has hid for centuries from the powers beyond our rational understanding, emanating from the crevices in our super-ego that reveal a direct pathway to the urges we repress. Ch'ahom are the opposite of meditation, an endless onslaught of thoughts, wishes, dreams, fears, impossible to shut out, an overwhelming and maddening samsara.

The single-song "Ts'ono'ot" EP is slated for a July 7 2023 release on limited edition cassette tape and digital formats worldwide via Sentient Ruin.

DECOHERENCE: UK Industrial Black Metal Futurists Announce Game-Changing Third Album "Order" - Track Unveiled by Toilet ov Hell

We're very excited to announce that UK mechanized black metal futurists Decoherence are about to reappear from the darkest unknown with "Order", an imposing third full-length voidscape consecrating an unrivaled auditory vision into absolute darkness and emptiness.

The cataclysmic forthcoming work has been teased by notorious underground metal blog Toilet Ov Hell, who in premiering the opening song “Closed Timelike Curves” have remarked how the track “evokes a sense of vastness, of being aboard a tiny vessel in the incalculable void of space”, and how the album as a whole is a “harrowing and powerful experience“ - you can check out the feature and the track HERE.

Humanity's microscopic existence and total insignificance within the paradigm or our vast reality and unknown creation, soundtracked using the medium of cold, synthetic, mechanical experimental black metal to infer a future reality, aeons away, in which unknowable technological advances will bridge unfathomable sidereal distances and quell humanity's longing for knowledge by placing us right in front of the mouth of oblivion, from which any return or escape will be impossible. Decaying at the event horizon, the awareness that our maniacal quest for knowledge was solely driven by an oppressive feeling of meaninglessness and fear in the shadow of the immensity and cruelty of the empty vast cosmos, will become more crushing than the infinite gravity itself. It is the premise itself, made of absolute insignificance and inevitable annihilation which makes the music of Decoherence so completely antihuman. A scenario of absolute hell lost between science, imagination, philosophy and total fear, merging different states, flaws and aspects of the human nature and mind, meticulously crafted from the surrealism of Blut Aus Nord and Ulcerate-derived avant-garde dissonant black and death metal, the grim, sidereal vastness of Darkspace, the industrial post-human bleakness of Godflesh and Brighter Death Now, and the ambiguous, experimental futurism of transformative 80's and 90's bands like Alchemist, Ved Buens Ende, Voivod and Killing Joke

"Order" is slated for a July 28 2023 worldwide release on LP, CD, MC and digital/streaming formats via Sentient Ruin.

Formed by Stroda (UK), in partnership with American vocalist Tahazu (vocals), and since 2019 also taking shape as a trio with Prior handling noise and electronic soundscapes, Decoherence has left mankind and this world behind to visualize instead cataclysmic and alien events of unseen magnitude and immensity, far beyond the reach and comprehension of mankind, deep into the one thing which more than anything defines mankind’s nothingness: the cosmos, eternal and immeasurable engine of creation and unimaginable destruction. Draped in dark matter and fueled by emptiness, with its immense evocative force and with visionary lucidly Decoherence have sonically bridged alien worlds and opened a portal to a vast and remore realm unknown, where existence is meticulously annihilated in perpetuity through immense cosmic cataclysmic events of creation and destruction, the magnitude of which ridicule mankind and vaporize its minuscule existence. Early in 2018 Decoherence brought these visions of annihilating cosmological immensity to fruition for the first with the release of their self-titled debut 7” EP released via Sentient Ruin - one of the label’s defining and most successful 7”releases to date. The superb quality of their debut EP and the critical acclaim which resulted paved the way for a short but incendiary burst of writing/recording which yielded a debut album of unseen ambient black metal immensity - the Ekpyrosis debut full-length LP - released as a 12” vinyl once again via Sentient Ruin in late 2019. Ekpyrosis was then followed up the following year by an even more imposing beast in the form of the second full-length Unitarity, and then in 2021 by the compilation System I which included also a cover of the Killing Joke song “The Wait”. 2023 would then see the release of the band’s immense third full-length album Order, and industrial black metal beast destined to consecrate Decoherence as one of the most exciting and promising new industrial underground extreme metal bands of the decade.

DISIMPERIUM: Portland OR Black/Death Metal/Grindcore Legion Announce Annihilating Debut Album "Grand Insurgence Upon Despotic Altars" - Track Unveiled at No Clean Singing.

We’re proud to announce the renewal of our blood pact with American black/death/grindcore weapon of mass extermination Disimperium, via the imminent release of the band’s forthcoming debut album “Grand Insurgence Upon Despotic Altars“ - to be released July 21 2023 on LP, CD, MC and digital formats worldwide.

The destruction-enshrouded release has been teased by notorious underground metal blog NO CLEAN SINGING, who in unveiling the track “Blade Obfuscation” have defined the track “mauling, mangling, mad, and monstrously malignant“ - you can check out the premiere and the track HERE.

Pure sonic annihilation reaches its pinnacle and inevitable sublimation on Disimperium's debut full-length album "Grand Insurgence Upon Despotic Altars". As the debut 2021 7" "Malefic Obliteration" had already hinted at, human ears will fall prey yet again to an entity whose quest for total sensorial destruction has now reached implausible and horrific extremes, far beyond the confines of sanity which had already been obliterated on the inaugural release. In its nine tracks and thirty two minutes of pure concentrated terror, "Grand Insurgence Upon Despotic Altars" discharges an inescapable payload of death that impacts the listener with the force and speed of an apocalyptic shockwave escaping the fireball of a nuclear warhead. An onslaught of carpet bombing drums, bass, guitars and contorted vocals dissolving the lines between sanity and pure chaos establishes a permanent and incessant state of absolute armageddon, while a maelstrom of malefic atmospheres and apocalyptic darkness enshrouds the assault transforming the work into a weaponized, hallucinogenic, otherworldly burden of total terror. Where bands like Diocletian, Impetuous Ritual, Tetragrammacide, Knelt Rote and Damaar had already tested and established the limits of human resistance against abstract ideas of omnipotent negativity and horizonless sonic bedlam, Disimperium explore these outer limits even further, venturing out and establishing a new era into which there is no more measure to the very definition of musical insanity sought and achieved for the sole sake of aggression.

Formed by members of Misrule and Ascended Dead and treading the same outer limits of musical cruelty of bands like Knelt Rote, Diocletian and Heresiarch, Dismperium emerged in 2021 with the “Malefic Obliteration” EP, a blinding assault of feral and dark blackened death metal destruction propelled toward oblivion by the barbaric ferocity of grindcore’s most uncompromising fringe. Disimperium have been in some way linked to Sentient Ruin even far before their existence. The band’s origins can be traced back to the grindcore solo project Misrule, by East Coast native and now Oregon-based multi-instrumentalist and visual artist S. Mahoney.

Misrule emerged in 2018 with its debut demo tape “Forced to Suffer”, issued by Sentient Ruin to positive reviews in the wake of its ferocious and unrelenting aural attack. The success of “Forced to Suffer” lead Mahoney to seek out live members to expand the project’s scope of action beyond his home studio. This lead to a string of local musicians to be briefly involved until members of Ascended Dead and of other local extreme metal bands came in contact with the project, and the union pushed the premises into a darker and even more violent territory which prompted everyone involved to start fresh with a new name and project that would take on a life and sound of its own. The original grindcore influences coming from Knelt Rote and Vermin Womb were thus completed and enhanced by other elements inspired by black and death metal bands like Adversarial, Archgoat, and Impetuous Ritual, which lead the forging of Disimperium’s dark and inhuman aural weapon of total mass extermination.

STUEKH HEXEN & FUNERARY CALL: Experimental Black Ambient Deconstructors Announce Immense Collaboration Album "P:R:I:S:M" - Track Unveiled at Everything is Noise.

We're proud to announce renewal of our near-ten year relationship with raw black power ambient ritualists Sutekh Hexen in announcing the band's colossal new 2LP "P:R:I:S:M", a full collaboration with Canadian nightmare-weaving enigma Funerary Call (AKA field recording and experimental soundscaping artist Harlow MacFarlane), to be released this summer in collaboration with our good dearest frequent co-conspirators from Europe Cyclic Law.

The massive fifty three minute 2LP, CD, MC, digital release has been anticipated by the tutting edge extreme music blog Everything Is Noise, who have premiered the song “Fractal:Void”, calling the track a “brooding and ominous piece of contemporary sonic art” - you can read the feature and checkout the track HERE.

With "P:R:I:S:M", magisterial sonic-alchemists Sutekh Hexen and Funerary Call join forces to deliver a fully collaborative album of eight highly experimental tracks. Throughout this octonary journey, concepts and unseen source energies are refined into spectrums of deeper consciousness. The resulting narrative guides the listener through a vastness of (dis)charging energies, rebirth through dissolution, and harrowing harmonic passages in tremendous spaces. Inner-workings suspend transformations in time. Pushing their respective boundaries, Sutekh Hexen and Funerary Call initiate the listener with the crystalline, static miasma of the album’s opener 'Meridian غ', only to enshroud them in the manifesting psychosis of 'Infernal Folly'. The churning mysticism of 'Perilous Shade' offers temporal sanctuary, and 'Toward the Eastern Gate' calls forth tectonic-prophecies as the album's centerpiece, tipping the scale into 'Fractal: Void'—a blistering disarmament in a storm of guitars, scathing electronics, and the disembodied calls we all anticipate and fear. 'Æscend Obsidia' tests the preceding tension and overwhelms in shimmering radiance before declaring release in 'Pangæa Ultima² (Dread)'. Closing with 'Shores of Purgatory', thresholds are breached anew with hectic guitar feedback, spectral synthesis and meditative melodic embellishments. Where the mirror blinds, the "P:R:I:S:M" offers vision—refractions of new perspectives, dissolving the shadow-self.

In the realm of extreme and otherworldly sounds, few entities have reached the peaks of cacophony and sonic disintegration touched by Bay Area blackened noise cult miscreants Sutekh Hexen. The ultra-prolific black noise sorcerers from Oakland have thus far amassed, in less than ten years of existence, a massive discography that touches depths of endarkenment and musical disembodiment that are almost impossible to understand. With releases being put out on cult labels like Magic Bullet, Cold Spring, Handmade Birds and Black Horizons, Sutekh Hexen have established them selves as absolute leaders in the realm of avantgarde ritualistic black metal and (un)sacred industrial/ambient/noise manifestations. Every release by the Oakland combo has been a stepping stone of sorts, showing an incredibly evolving trajecotry in their endless and ever-morphing vomiting of sublime cacophony, and displaying an array of influences and of ways of layering sound that make the band seem completely otherworldly. Like a smoldering, buzzing, hissing and screaming void of monstrous and unshackled chaos, Sutekh Hexen have been (along with their peers Gnaw Their Tongues, BLSPHM, Wold, Theologian, Murmuüre, Thisquietarmy etc.) the authors of some of the most uncompromising, scorching, spectral, and visionary ambient black metal ever put to tape.

Under the moniker Funerary Call Canadian field recording artist and experimental ambient sound designer Harlow MacFarlane, has been creating vast and psychologically disruptive sonic architectures bridging various disciplines and connecting various auditory worlds since at least the 90s. Within Funerary Call elements of neoclassical composition, ambient industrial, field recording, noise and surrealistic electronic music have converged toward a common zenith of inscrutable experimentalism for at least three decades, yielding a massive body of work and a diverse pletora of releases spanning nightmarish soundtrack-like ambient releases to introspective and contemplative audial ritualizations aiming at disconnecting soul and mind from their surroundings to point them inward, toward deeper levels of consciousness expansion and augmentative disassociation.

"P:R:I:S:M" releases officially July 14, 2023 on 2LP (for the Americas), digital and MC via Sentient Ruin, and on 2LP (for Europe), CD and digital via Cyclic Law and all formats are now pre-orderable globally via the respective label channels.
