BONE FETISH
A deranged gore-and grind infested death metal disfigurement from Canadian multi instrumentalist Wes Mousseau from Manitoba, also associated with bands like Gore Gash, Mortuary Ghoul and Morgue Dweller. Loyal and faithful as ever to the profile of the recluse with a lot of time on his hands and to a long running admiration for Carcass, Disgorge and Impetigo, with Bone Fetish Wes set out to create the ultimate sum of his influences and set a new benchmark for absolute gore-death destruction that would honor the genre while pushing thing it further into insanity. Created in complete seclusion and isolation, Bone Fetish first emerged with the 2021 “Buried” demo, seven minutes of deranged slasher terror spewn from the outer limits of inhumanity. The 2022 “Convergence” demo heightened the load of horror further with another seven minutes of the same sadistic aural terrorism, while the 2024 “Mummified” demo put the final seal on a trilogy of gore-ravaged audial documents of unparalleled antihuman extreme metal mastership. Wes then communicated to Sentient Ruin the presence of some new unreleased Bone Fetish tracks along with his intention to put the project temporarily on hold. This development convinced the two parties to fill the momentary gap of silence with a full-length release containing all the three demos remastered along with five new never before heard songs, all resequenced into the self-titled 2025 LP, CD and tape compilation to incarnate Bone Fetish’s most gruesome and vile conquest yet.
