The black raw punk cult of Obsoletion was formed in São Paulo in the middle of 2018 and is currently formed by Aline Souza (guitar), Daniel Lopes (bass), Flávio Barbosa (vocals) and Lucas Alonso (drums). Uniting the Punk, Hardcore and Black Metal sounds and influenced by bands like Sheer Terror (which also inspired the band's name), Darkthrone, Mayhem, Sodom, Agnostic Front, and Hellhammer they had their first material released as a demo tape in 2019 by the Brazilian label Thinking Straight Records, period in which they also had several performances in various cities of São Paulo. After three more years of COVID-induced hell, the demo tape was reissued in the Northern Hemisphere in 2021 by Sentient Ruin, with more aural ruination to come….
