Bremen-based german extreme metal legion Voreus join forced with Sentient Ruin to issue in their inhuman black/death annihilation worship abomination “The Proclamation”, a twenty three-minute debut mini-album of implausible aural darkness emanating from a wretched dimension of total chaos and annihilation. Formed by members of Cult of Extinction, Imperceptum, and Funeral Procession among others, Voreus coalesced in 2018 as a new untamable force in the elite of the german extreme metal underground to harness a higher sphere of almost regal aural obliteration and birth the devastating debut short-player, which however remained unreleased, and it wasn’t until late 2020 that the band and Sentient Ruin came together to finally birth the abomination in physical format. Influenced by the highest order of otherworldly extreme metal demigods like Teitanblood, Proclamation, Pseudogod, Impetuous Ritual, and Temple Nightside, Voreus have likewise forged a sound of such intimidating magnitude and destructive yield, that their tyrannical dominion has been already been established among the elite ranks of European extreme metal and beyond, right there among the primeval forces of the genre which originally inspired to them take the thresholds of sonic annihilation to their limits and with such a refined and intimidating formal and substantial approach to the craft.
