VILE RITUAL: American Psychedelic Bestial Death Metal Entity Unveils Gruesome Debut Album "Caverns of Occultic Hatred" - Track Premiered at No Clean Singing.

We’re very proud too announce that East Coast one-man psychedelic bestial death metal force Vile Ritual will finally emerge from the bowels of hades with its skull-crushing debut full-length album, "Caverns of Occultic Hatred". On the forty-minute, eight-track death-torn abomination, Vile Ritual merges the primeval violence of bands like Archgoat and Von with the technical and compositional unpredictability of progressive and atmospheric-leaning death metal bands like The Chasm, Timeghoul, Incantation, Infester and Demilich to conjure a mind-devouring hallucination of mutated, dark and occult death metal carnage.

The crushing album has been anticipated by No Clean Singing who in introducing the track “Living Hell” have remarked how “a truly hellish and assaulting experience” that “throws the listener into a living hell, though there’s something ebullient and exultant about these demonic revels. And yes, in a way it’s psychedelic — as well as psychotic.“ - you can check out the feature and the song HERE.

In a way not dissimilar to what we've seen done by bands like Antediluvian, Howls of Ebb, or Chaos Echoes, Vile Ritual's aim with "Caverns of Occultic Hatred" is that of prying the listener's mind open with violence, expanding it to the dissolution of consciousness and using alchemical, ritualistic and esoteric orchestrations to create a trance-like state that renders the listener trapped and disoriented into a hideous sonic delusion, to be bludgeoned mercilessly with the carnage of the barbaric blackened death metal that shapes the other half of its darkened, gruesome soul. A record shrouded in shapeshifting ambivalence, "Caverns of Occultic Hatred" is a horrific and disembodied descent into the madness and chaos of primeval impulses, insanity, and of the dissolution of reality via total sensorial and auditory annihilation.

"Caverns of Occultic Hatred" is scheduled for a June 16 2023 release worldwide via Sentient Ruin on LP, CD, MC and digital formats.

Vile Ritual first emerged in 2019 with a defining self-titled and self-released digital EP of surreal and masterful dark atmospheric death metal combining the skull-crushing primitivism of bands like Archgoat and Black Witchery with the hallucinatory and diseased atmospheres of black metal bands like Beherit and Von and the esoteric sophistication of bands like Necros Christos, Sect Pig, and Antediluvian. The mesmerizing EP saw Vile Ritual easily move ahead of the mere sum of its influences to envision a gruesome heirloom of inverted death metal occultism that would cast the genre back to a violent and supernatural past older than time it self. Re-released on cassette in 2020 by Tempest Tome Tapes, the superlative offering introduced Vile ritual as an entity fully immersed in the darkest death metal craft and dedicated to harnessing the genre’s most timeless evocative power to unearth ancient forms of horrendous esoteric ritualism.

The self-tiled debut Vile Ritual EP saw the band torment the listener with a surreal magma of sinister vocal lamentations and horrific subterranean emanations reverberating from the darkest and most hidden crypts from before the dawn of time, while their skull-crushing riffs and violent neanderthalian exectuion worked in parallel to materialize the full horror and remorselessly butcher any remains in a gruesome ritualistic aural nightmare. This masterful juxtaposition of merciless execution and timeless atmospheres displayed already fully defined in Vile Ritual’s first ever offering set things in motion quickly for greater and even more exciting death metal savagery to come, and in 2021 events came full circle when Vile Ritual and Sentient ruin identified an unholy alliance in each other's respective darkened and sinister ways. The collaborative encounter resulted in the staggering "Tongues of the Excarnate" compilation, a meticulously crafted and comprehensive LP containing a re-mixed and remastered version of the aforementioned debut self-titled demo tape along with three brand new and previously unheard tracks. Meanwhile, as"Tongues of the Excarnate" was receiving its final art and master touches before hitting the pressing plant, the next chapter in Vile Ritual’s foul ritualistic death metal quest had already been set in motion, as “Caverns of Occultic Hatred” the first official Vile Ritual debut LP, already loomed on the horizon.
